Inventory and Sawmill
We are the only sawmill in Philadelphia where customers can bring in their trees to saw for their own supply of lumber.
We saw antique reclaimed beams and locally harvested fallen trees into lumber.
The wood yard houses a unique, 60,000-foot inventory of reclaimed, sustainable stock, including long leaf pine, white pine, redwood, white cedar, yellow cedar, Douglas fir, and white oak. The beams are from trees that grew for hundreds of years. We offer long lengths of lumber not available elsewhere.
Another source of wood available are the local urban trees felled by storms or cut down for clearing that are brought to our wood yard by customers.
We saw these trees into lumber specific to the customer’s needs. We convert these otherwise doomed trees into beautiful timber for furniture and custom woodworking. Rare and hard to find species harvested from local fallen trees include Osage orange, black locust, holly, walnut, cherry, white cedar, white pine, horse chestnut, red, white and yellow oak.
